Yay! Your child is all signed up for school photos on

Tuesday, April 8 and Wednesday, April 9!

Greetings, Guidepost Montessori families! I'm so excited to photograph your children. Below is some additional information to help you prepare for photo day!

wHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR?

We want the focus to be on your child, so it's best to choose clothing that isn't too distracting.

• Please avoid neon colors, or graphics. 
• Solid colors are best.
• Avoid black/dark navy colors as these will blend with the black background.
• Consider the weather. We want the kids to be comfortable since photos are being taken outside.

hOW WILL i ORDER?

Within two weeks of your child's photo day you will be emailed a link to your school's portfolio and your child's gallery. There will be 2-5 images of each child. Images will be in both color and black & white. I don't choose which photos to print, you do! You'll be able to order prints, canvas wraps, metal prints and digital files directly from the gallery. The ordering process is simple and secure. Information on pricing can be found below.

Ordering prints for delivery to the school will be available for 2 weeks after gallery delivery. After that time, any prints ordered will be delivered to your home and will include shipping costs.



Sibling photos

Each child will receive their own gallery and there will be a separate gallery for the sibling photos, if applicable. There will be a 20% discount on the purchase of the full digital gallery for each of the sibling galleries. (For example a family with 2 students at the school will have a total of 3 galleries and each of the 3 galleries will have a coupon code to use for 20% off the purchase of the full digital gallery)

wHAT ARE fINE aRT SCHOOL PORTRAITS?

My goal is to capture each child’s unique personality. While I love to see smiles, I never force them—some children are naturally more reserved, and that’s perfectly okay! There’s beauty in their serious moments, too. Rather than awkward poses or cheesy grins, I focus on the natural light and beauty that shines through in every child. By creating a relaxed, fun atmosphere, I help kids feel comfortable, allowing their true selves to shine through in every shot.
